The best time to travel in Spain is from mid-March through spring and summer. However, Spain get really hot in July and August so if you are going to a city, it’s best to avoid these months. You can go to Madrid, Barcelona, Seville or Valencia in September and October, which might be cheaper.
Especially look out for festivals during off-season, and you can have a lot of fun. You should book as early as possible if you are planning to go anywhere in Spain in summer. In July and August, resorts in Spain get fully booked. If you are planning to visit northern cities such as Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela and Basque Country, June and July can be the best months.
